Papers upon papers
upon more papers
it never seems to end
there's always more to read
and comment on
and then they write more
and fix it wrong
and you have to go through it all over again
and you even start to question what you have written to them
wondering if you're stifling them and silencing them
and conforming them to a way of writing
that you might not even believe in
Once someone said if you have time to read through all their papers
then they aren't writing enough,
you aren't assigning enough
I guess I'm not doing that
cause there is far more than enough
and then there is even more piled on top
