An entry to place
Underutilized by my upstairs neighbor,
who instead comes in the back door
to offer home cooked chicken noodle soup
An alarm that reminds me I'm home
The dogs scream, alert, alert!
I try to tell them this is ours, yours and mine
My North Star while on the road
A beacon mounted on structural walls supporting lasting changes:
Slippers by the door, coffee in the morning, an architect table clear of clutter
